On a more personal note, I was raised in the Chicago suburbs, went to college and graduate school in upstate New York and New York City, and lived for several years in the Bay Area before settling in the PNW in 2021. Outside of therapy room I love knitting, playing video games, re-learning my childhood instrument (the cello!), and being a busy mom of two human children and one cat. The cat’s name is Suzy, and you will very likely see her on a telehealth session, demanding praise and compliments.

I received my MSW in 2012 from Columbia University and obtained my independent license in 2015 in California. I subsequently obtained my license in Oregon and Washington, which allows me to offer teletherapy in all three states. Prior to opening my private practice in 2021, I worked in community mental health as well as inpatient psychiatric settings.
